So, you were playing with Blogger! You've put up all sorts of interesting widgets here. (I enjoyed the Monty Python video very much!) Quite an amazing beginning for your very first blog! (I was also impressed that you featured your own video on YouTube, where I have an account but have never made a video, not having even a webcam!)
Hi Nina! Thank you for your comments. It is really amazing to see how many things you can do with Blogs. I was not a big fan of them, but I see the great potential for language learning they have.
By the way, what would be the difference between a website and a blog?
I'm an English teacher and a member of TESOL. I began teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) back home (the Dominican Republic). I taught for several years at different private language institutions as well as for the only public university there (Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo).
In 2004, I came to the United States to get a masters degree in Applied Linguistics at Ohio University and graduated in 2006. Immediately after that, I began my PhD program in Instructional Technology and have been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and English Composition at different American universities for several years now.
